Succesful Trip to Asia

Michael Bollom has just returned from a 3 week trip to Asia covering Singapore,HongKong,China,Japan,New Zealand. Auckland will now have a new A Glaze Auto Centre operating in the next couple of weeks. New lease was signed and works has commenced on fitting out. Hong Kong and Japan are doing very well with our new independent  working well as well as a number of the prestige car dealers applying A Glaze for its customers. A second unit will be opening on the Kowloon side soon. Our applicator was awarded the best new A Glaze automotive unit in Asia. Singapore is starting to grow and we will be revisiting in October for the Superyacht conference where we shall be represented. A Glaze web sites expand

SEARAY Japan signs up with A GLAZE

Our Japanese Distributor has agreed with the importer of SEARAY Boats,Eins-Aresort Co Ltd, manufactured in the USA to use A Glaze on all new sales as well as its 100+ boats they store on land for their customers. They also intend to sell some of the A Glaze Marine range throughout Japan. This is a great step forward for A Glaze and we very much look forward to working with our new partners. Simon Phillips of Brush Brush Japan has taken the Marine products from strength to strength working with importers of many of the worlds finest yachts including Benneteau and X Yachts.

Sealine have first boat A Glazed at factory

We are pleased to be working with Sealine who are considering all boats that are sold outside Europe will be A Glazed as standard with an option on all boats supplied in Europe. We have just supplied A Glaze for a new F46 which is bound for Hong Kong. Our agent Synergy Asia will be inspecting the craft on arrival before being handed over to the customer. We are looking forward to working with Sealine in the future. 

First independent unit opens in Hong Kong

Our first independent unit opened last week in Hong Kong. Already they have done 5 cars in the last few days with many bookings being made. Intermax through our distributor Synergy Asia are planning another 2 units making a total of 3 in different areas of Hong Kong. With the cost of cars in this country due to import taxes many owners want their cars to look pristine all the time. The unit looks great with plenty of product on show as well as posters and DVD information playing for customer information. With many of the top brands now using A Glaze in Asia we welcome this opportunity to work with Intermax. We wish them well.

Croatia starts with Marine

Mata Marine in Croatia has just started with our Marine product range. Denis Bozan has just completed his first Yacht a 10 year old Sunseeker (see photos in portfolio). Japan has its largest shipment for Marine and Cars

The largest A Glaze order for Marine and Car  products has just left our warehouse in Sittingbourne bound for Osaka ,Japan. Our thanks goes to Simon and his team for his efforts in promoting A Glaze which has resulted in a flood of activity and orders. Synergy Asia have worked very close with Simon to secure some of these contracts. Well done guys!!

All A Glaze products now available in Japan

Our recent trip to Japan saw all the product range agreed to be sold into Japan. Marine and Automotive will be distributed across Japan starting next month. Although our Marine products were being sold it did not include the full range. Now with the success of taking on board additional companies we are pleased with the progress made and in the future. A Glaze now on Facebook

A Glaze has now got its own Facebook page and we invite members to join. Communication can be helpful with others who wish to know some facts about our products and share information with others. We are now working on a Youtube site where we will be able to post videos of how our products are used as well as customers own videos before and after applying our process.

A Glaze assists in Japan race

A Glaze has been applied to this magnificent race yacht in Japan by our Agents in Osaka. Simon Phillips was given the opportunity in making sure that this black hulled yacht had no friction on the hull as well as look stunning for the race. As you can see the yacht looks superb and we are pleased to state won its race. Great job Simon and we wish the team continued success.

A Glaze prepares for US market

During the London Boat Show A Glaze agreed a partnership with a US company to set up a distribution network in the United States. There will be a launch of the full A Glaze range. Automotive,Marine,Aircraft and Motor home/RV will be the focal areas that we shall be facing. Whilst we had been in discussions late October last year our US partners decided to visit us at LBS to agree the new structure and commence procedures. Michael will be attending a meeting in Texas where the head office of the new corporation will be based in early March to agree the way forward. We will be taking across the successful formula to the States to give this venture a head start. Personnel to head the individual operations will be agreed and it is hoped that we shall be ready to start sales within a few months. Until such times as we have secured manufacturing in the US all products will be packaged and supplied from Sittingbourne warehouse. We feel that there is an enormous market out there where A Glaze will benefit owners who will want to protect their investments.  We shall also be bringing in David Rengert of RMP Marine on board to oversee the Super yacht area as his expertise will be vital in making that area successful. London Boat Show 2010 better than expected

London Boat show finished on a high as the majority of visitors came the last few days. Weather was a deterrent in the first weekend which saw numbers drop but still with customers attending who specifically came to buy our products.The new stand layout proved very popular and was far better for sales than ever before. This format will now continue in future exhibitions. Our new Canopy cleaner was such a success that we had to get more stock in by the second weekend. Our Press day saw many of the magazines attending our usual buffet and champagne hour which we were thrilled with. We want to thank all our customers new and existing for making the effort to visit our stand in such awful weather.New markets were agreed upon including the launch of our full range in USA later on this year. A full report will be done soon for all those who are presently ordering from the States. Thank you to everyone for making the show so successful in such difficult conditions.

A Glaze Japanese web site up and running

A Glaze web site is now up and running and all in Japanese so anyone who cannot read it or have access to word in Japanese will not be able to read it. This has been done to promote the A Glaze brand before the car industry launch in April 2010. Marine is doing very well and we expect the car Glaze to be just as good if not better given the amount of cars in Japan. The web site for anyone who can access it is www.aglaze-asia.com . A Glaze wins Peninsula Hotel Hong Kong contract

A Glaze is now proud to be associated with the Peninsula hotel Hong Kong where we have secured a contract to A Glaze and maintain the 14 Rolls Royce Phantoms. The first 4 cars will be A Glazed this week followed by the other 10 later this month. A full programme of maintenance has been worked out with our own valeter working with the team to ensure all cars are in pristine condition for their esteemed guests. We wish to thank the Peninsula personnel for their support of our A Glaze programme and thank Robin Whittaker and Synergy Asia for all their efforts in providing a first class service to the hotel.The cars will be fully A Glazed using our new formula packaged for the hotels cars. Our Crystal Vision V.2 will also be  applied to the glass. Porsche Hong Kong starts A Glaze treatments

Porsche Hong Kong sent out its introductory letters at the beginning of November and have had a great response. Owners of Porsche's in Hong Kong can now get their cars A Glazed at the dealer when servicing takes place.  Car sales are also offering the application on deliveries of new cars. We are sure the A Glaze treatments will be a success in Hong Kong and lead to other dealers in Asia. A Glaze used on racing hulls

In Japan our A Glaze is being used on racing hulls to improve performance. You can see by the picture the gloss that A Glaze sealant has achieved which will certainly reduce drag and hopefully assist with a win over the competition. A time improvement was being looked at over 500 meters of 0.5 seconds. After 3 days of extensive testing they found that they had an improvement of 1.7 seconds. This is equal to 7 meters. New Zealand racing ahead of predictions

New Zealand distributors International Yacht Services in Whangarei have exceeded all expectations with the growth of their A Glaze business far better than anticipated. Run by Tom and Lily they have had to take on 2 full time staff just to cope with the orders. We are pleased that this has initially started so well and judging by the pictures sent to us seen below it is due to the hard work and promotion as well as the A Glaze proving invaluable in the harsh UV environment in New Zealand. We have already passed on leads and it seems that the expansion of other applicators run under Tom will now be necessary. New Canopy Cleaner released LBS 2010

We are pleased to be able to inform our customers that we now have a new Canopy Cleaner which will be available at London Boat Show 2010. Our new product is supplied for diluting depending on the amount of dirt stains needed to be removed. Bird lime especially will be removed without damaging the fabric. We do however recommend using our New Fabric Protector afterwards to re proof the fabric as well as stop algae growth. Both products will be available from our stand N019J. New Fabric Protector at LBS 2010

We are pleased to confirm our new Fabric Protector will be launched at Excel London Boat Show in January 2010. This new product will replace two existing products by one. The new Fabric Protector which is water based will re seal the canopy from water penetration as well as give a barrier protection on the re growth of green algae. This was originally done using our Silver Spray as a separate product which we have now amalgamated into one. There is also the new Canopy Cleaner and our SMR Marine Protector also being launched. London Boat Show Preparations Underway

London Boat Show 2010 at Excel on 8th to 17th January is fast approaching and our team are working hard on our new stand of 55sqm with different presentations for displaying our products. We still will have the DVD format as well as our demonstrating on our products but we shall now have all the products on full display allowing you to move freely around being able to look at all the different products deciding your needs. We shall also have our bar serving coffee,soft drinks and wine. Our Crystal Vision Demo will be there as well as new products on show which will be our Canopy Cleaner which was the most requested product last year as well as our SMR product used to remove swirl marks on paint and GRP surfaces. New Zealand Applicator has encouraging start

Our latest Applicator,International Yacht Services in New Zealand, who joined our team in September has had a great start using our A Glaze system. New Zealand Yachts suffer the worst UV around the world and as you can see from the pictures blue hulls especially suffer with colour loss. This Swan 44 is 8 years old and when first approached our applicator felt that it was too far gone but was willing to try. They first of all used a 3M compound followed by our Pre-cut and Marine Preparation before using the  A Glaze. The treatment had several more coats than normal due to the porous gel coat but they managed to get this filled up.

The pictures speak for themselves and maintenance will be just as important to maintain that gloss.Our agent Tom Mueller of International Yacht Services has 4 more boats lined up waiting for treatment with the next one being hauled out on 12th October. With his stock on the water he should be able to start fully in a couple of weeks time.

Tom also has gained interest from the Prestige Motors club in Auckland who are keen to look at our system for cars. Tom's cars are presently being sign written with our A Glaze logos and an extension to their yard with a new 800 sqm shed to take boats in to work on is now ready. A Glaze study tour Japan

A presentation and demonstration on our products were being given by our marine agents Brush Brush Yacht Valeting in Japan during September. Our prospective agents for the motor industry were very interested to see first hand how we are expanding in the Marine industry and were very excited to use the success to promote the Motor side of the business. Although not too dissimilar they were shown application processes on GRP as well as painted surfaces including Simon's Jaguar as you can see from the photos. All appeared to have a good session and smiles all round. My thanks goes to all especially Simon and Crispen for giving up there time and making everyone so welcome, cheers guys ! Visit to Hong Kong by Japanese Delegates

September 11th/14th saw our potential distributors for the car industry visit Hong Kong to see our operation and products at work, giving demonstrations and learning of the advantages of using the A Glaze Sealant system. Synergy Asia took the delegates to BMW cars and Bentley Motors who currently use our A Glaze products on all their clients cars, to demonstrate the process as well as learn selling potentials in the Asia markets. We expect to be operating fully in Japan in the motor industry by the end of November, with large stocks hitting the country early in the new year,  this will be after approvals for importation of our products have been concluded. We are very much looking forward to working with our Japanese partners and also wish to thank Synergy Asia for their time spent as well as the car distributors who allowed access to their workshops to do the demos. Southampton Boat Show

Please note that we do not exhibit at Southampton Boat Show. We do however have Toomer and Hayter stocking our Eradicator packs under their own brand name. There will be stocks available to purchase from the show along with some other products stocked on our behalf. New product available SMR

Our new product SMR is now available to order on line. This new product priced the same as the Marine Prep can be used on new paint finishes replacing the  Prep as it has no cut at all. Silicone free it can also be used in high temperatures as our Marine Prep in some hot climates is difficult to apply. Used in the same way the area is cleaned using the SMR with Glaze applied afterwards. The SMR is also good in removing swirl marks which are sometimes caused after washing GRP/Painted surfaces. Bristow start testing Aviation Glaze

Bristow Australia Operations has given approval for a trial on one of its fleet of Helicopters. Stocks have been shipped out for application in a couple of weeks. Bristow operate a large fleet of Helicopters transporting personnel to and from Oil Rig sites around Western Australia. They are testing our product to see what protection it can help with from low flying over the sea in the harsh environments they have to cope with. Protecting their paintwork and reducing maintenance is our goal.

Australia trip a great success

Just returning from a long trip to Australia,thanks to Australian Commercial Marine, we visited Perth,Adelaide,Brisbane,Melbourne,Gold Coast and ending up in Sydney to catch up at the Boat Show. My thanks goes to Peter Boyd (MD) and Dave Wilson who accompanied me on this tour which proved very exciting and in Peters words fantastic !!. We took on around 21 new applicators around Australia which is a great start. Most are in Perth where ACM are based but with at least 2 applicators in each area visited. We also met with some boat manufacturers who are looking at doing trials shortly on all production craft. We were able to see several boats that had been A Glazed in August last year which have held very well in the Australian climate. A Fairline Squadron was a typical example which had bad gelcoat fading which the A Glaze has held now for 11 months. Hanseatic Marine also invited us to look at the new boat in production soon to be launched as well as ask our France company to look at the sister ship in the Middle East. We were also excited to see the large interest in Aircraft there as there are many small airlines and private craft that need treating. Australia trip looms

We are soon to be promoting our Marine A Glaze range in Australia next week. Australian Commercial Marine are hosting seminars with many of the boating industry members who are keen to see the new products as well as have training and demonstrations for future use. Travelling to Perth,Brisbane,Melbourne and Sydney will be useful in meeting ACM clients who are keen to take on board our range of products. Full report will be given on our return. Arnage Final Series A Glazed

We were pleased to be able to A Glaze one of the last of line Bentley Arnage's at our factory last week. There are only 150 manufactured with only a handful remaining in the UK. Last of line called "Final Series" has many extras including special 20" alloys as well as some nice features. A Glaze will be using this car to monitor our new car Prep which is able to be used in conjunction with the A Glaze system to remove any swirl marks that may appear due to constant washing. Some leathers and cloth's will sometimes leave these marks and our new product will remove these unsightly swirls. This will be eventually available for Marine. It is now being used by car dealers which has replaced the prep for use on new cars as no cut is needed. Monitoring is always a prime task for all new and existing A Glaze products. YBW comments information

Whilst we are pleased that comments are placed on the YBW web site we need to make sure that customers perception of our process is correct. The Marine Prep used with our process is NOT a wax it is prepared to make sure that all wax is removed and that 4/7 microns are left open for the initial coat of Glaze. This process must NOT be short cut as if there remains any wax on the areas before using the Marine Glaze it will just move around and not fill in any of the pores which will not last the full 12 months.

Motor Boat Monthly Test Write Up July edition

In the July edition of Motor Boats Monthly on sale next week ,we have the results of our Dinghy Cleaner and Dinghy Sealant which have been give a Star Buy rating. The test was performed on a Dinghy which was kept at the back of this boat where the dirt and grime as well as the engine fumes had badly stained areas. The test shows a before and after and is quoted as being easily cleaned with no effort. We wish to thank the magazine for their test and always ensure that before any product is launched ,thorough testing is done to ensure value and that the product will eliminate soiled stains. Japan trip a great success

Our Asia trip which took in Japan and Hong Kong was very successful thanks to the itinerary planned by Synergy Asia's Robin Whittaker. We have now appointed a Sales Representative based in Tokyo  Mr Shige Debari  (email:shigedebari@gmail.com) to deal with sales of Automotive in Japan. Our new web site A Glaze Japan will be up and running in a few months due  to translation works. Many large companies were visited to handle the distribution of the range of products which will be decided shortly. We have also appointed an agent in Kobe who will be dealing with all the Marine applications. All details with regards contact numbers etc will be posted shortly. In Hong Kong we have now secured arrangements with Porsche,Bentley and BMW where seminar's were done to do training as well as sales assistance. Japan trip planned for launch of A Glaze

A trip to Tokyo and Narita in Japan during the next two weeks is going ahead to launch the complete A Glaze systems to the Marine,Automobile and Aviation industries. Robin Whittaker of Synergy Asia comments " now has never been a better time to introduce the A Glaze Sealant system into these industries"  The Automotive industry is looking at ways to improve existing cars which are serviced offering clients an opportunity in making sure their investments are protected as well as maintaining that shine with less maintenance. A Glaze had the opportunity in preparing a 1989 Rolls Royce Silver Seraph. As you can see this car now looks as if it had just come out of the showroom.
 
Due to the finish we gave the customer the additional 4 years warranty as we do with a new car.

New A Glaze 5.4c for Carbon Fibre

Creative Resins Distribution are pleased to announce the forthcoming A Glaze specially blended for Carbon Fibre. Carbon Fibre,particularly in an unlacquered state,is extremely susceptible to UV damage from the sun. This can show up in the form of yellowing of the area at first,but then chalking and flaking of the clear coat will commence which eventually leads to damage of the individual fibres themselves,thus weakening the structure. This is a problem whenever Carbon Fibre is exposed to sunlight. A Glaze 5.4c has been designed specifically to protect both lacquered and unlacquered carbon fibre from the damage caused by UV. This new formula contains more than 10 times the amount of light stabilizing compounds compared to our existing formulas. Reapplied annually it can almost completely stop the accelerated aging caused to Carbon Fibre by the sun. Samples will be sent out for the normal write ups in due course and will be available soon. Active 3 for use on Superyachts

Active 3 has been proven to be an excellent product for maintenance on Painted Superyachts as an aftercare product. After the Superyacht has been treated the Active 3 is used to maintain the gloss as well as removing any marks. RMP marine have informed us. X Yachts GB uses A Glaze

X Yachts GB in Hamble Point Marine now use A Glaze to maintain their customers yachts. Clive Hancock our technical advisor has overseen the initial applications which went very well. Additional car added for A Glaze

Due to our increased workload with training and demonstrating around the UK we have added a new A Glaze car to the company. We always feel that when our customers request a visit we try to accommodate. With so many applicators and customers using our systems the additional car was needed. Demos are very important especially for the introduction of new products. London Boat Show better than expected

We have just finished a long 10 days on our stand at LBS in London and were very pleased with the outcome. Although the numbers were down on attendance the people that came to visit were boaters looking for new ideas and products to enhance their craft. Many of our existing customers came for their usual chat and purchased Glaze to refresh boats for another season. We were pleased to take on two more Charter companies who will be using our protection system. This year saw the launch of our Dinghy Cleaner which sold very well. We also had meetings with manufacturers who will be testing the product to use on customers craft as well as the Dinghy Sealant to protect new ones. We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand this year and a big thank you to our existing customers for their continued support.

London Boat Show 2009 approaches

 As the year draws to a close and the festive season finishes the London Boat Show 2009 at Excel starts on January 9th 2009. For all our regular customers we have been moved again this time on the 2nd Aisle  entering door N3. Our new stand number is N20J. We feel that many of our customers potential and existing will be looking at maintaining their craft this year especially as many of you will probably not be thingking about changing,so you will need to keep your own craft looking pristine.  Our new product launch will be a Dinghy cleaner which will be sold in a pack with the sealant. We will be holding a clinic on problems and how to solve these issues with or without our processes so please come along and see us where we hope we can help you.  Demonstations by Mark will be all day. U Glaze opens first unit in Hong Kong

We are pleased that Synergy Asia have agreed the opening of our first U Glaze outlet in Hong Kong. Robin Whittaker stated "This is the first unit dedicated to applying Glaze to used cars giving the customer a 1 year warranty". The unit is at present being renovated and will open 3rd week of October. We wish Synergy and their customer great success amd look forward to more openings in the future. Australian Commercial Marine have become distributors for our Marine products in Australia. We are pleased to be working with Peter Boyd and Dave Wilson and feel that this new business relationship will work very well. New Distributor for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain

We are pleased to have come to an agreement with Saudik Trading Company in Bahrain to distribute our Automobile and Aviation products. Director of operations Hamza Abbas Hafiz has been negotiating with Saudi arabian Airlines and will be underway with testing shortly. We will have products available in Bahrain within the next few weeks. We are pleased to be associated with Saudik Trading and look forward to a long relationship with them.  The range of car products that will be available will be the Alloy Wheel products, Car Kits, Air Purifier, Active 3 and Wash and Shine Shampoo. Hong Kong Presentation goes very well

Over 60 representatives from Hong Kong businesses attended our two day seminar at the British Consulate. Top brands such as Sunseeker, Fairline, Sealine, Aquador, Sessa, Bentley, BMW, Aston Martin, Shangri-La Hotels, Mandarin Group, Conrad Hilton...the list goes on. Orders have already been taken with demonstrations already being done. Bentley took delivery of a new Continental Speed in Red and are using this for their demo. A customer who saw the application has since requested A Glaze already. Many Airlines were visited in Hong Kong and Macau who are interested in protecting their  fleet. New product goes out for testing and reports

We are in the process of sending out to the magazines our new Dinghy and Rib cleaner. This has already been used by the RNLI crew in Sheerness on their Rib which brought it up near brand new. They were most impressed. Now for the magazines to try we will be supplying the cleaner with a pack of Eradicators as these should be used with the cleaner. A Glaze meets with Airbus at Farnborough

Michael Bollom and Clive Hancock visited Farnborough this week which is holding the Air Show to look at the new Airbus A 380 to calculate amounts required for future treatments. One of our customers Singapore Airlines already has two aricraft which is in the process of being treated. The A 380 did a take off and landing display as well as some unbelievable movements of the aircraft. What a display. If you are able to visit the show on the public day we can well worth reccomend it. What an aircraft !!

Australia tests on Marine sector going well

We have some tests being done by Australian Commercial Marine in Freemantle Western Australia. They have all our marine products which are going through some extensive testing. Our Crystal Vision V.2 test is also going well and it is hoped that within the next few weeks ACM will be a distributor for our marine products. We have always insisted that companies try the products first so that they are satisfied with there climate that the product does its work. The climate is quite different there so some changes on applying have had to be overcome but now this has been sorted we feel sure that by having a company stocking our products will increase sales in that part of the world. Hong Kong Seminar now over two days

Presentation of the A Glaze product at the end of July has now had to bbe scheduled on two days due the the response to invitations. Many companies in the Hotel,Airline,Marine and Car industries have all responded positively. Claire Ip from the Bristah Consulate stated that Bristish products are very welcomed over her especially as they carry warranties and already excellent mayor companies using our products many of them prepared to issue testimonials.Synergy Asia have now registered www.aglaze-asia.com which will be up and running shortly.

Presentation on all A Glaze products for Hong Kong

A presentation will be made to the local businesses in Hong Kong on all the A Glaze products at the end of July. Major companies including Cathay Pacific,Peninsular Hotel,Fairline, Sunseeker,BMW to name a few, will be intoduced to the benefits of using the A Glaze Sealant System. We are pleased to have the support of the British Consulate in arranging the day with our agent Synergy Asia investments managed by Robin Whittaker. An enormous amount of hard work has been put in place to promote a British manufactured product. With the fuel saving aspect of the Aviation Glaze this will be welcomed by the airlines. 1st car kits arrive in Australia

 Our first shipment of Car Kits have arrived with our distributor in Perth,Australia. Jim Stevenson has managed to secure a contrat with an importer to prepare cars prior to delivery to the dealerships. Around 500 cars per month are expected to be done to start with up to a possible 1000. Customers will now have the benefit of their paintwok sealed with easy maintenence. Test Results now acknowledged

A Glaze were pleased to receive confirmation from Scott Bader that after extensive testing in house and outside by an independent testing house (Satra) showed that our system has the following benefits: When compared to an un-treated Gelcoat surface over the testing period of 4 years the A Glaze system with the regular annual applications does appear to offer some benefits to the maintenance of the surface quality,particularly with regards to gloss retention.

These test results were carried out using Gelcoat panels supplied to us by Scott Bader.

Great success at London Boat Show 2008

67 boats were presented using A Glaze at London Boat Show 2008.  This years show was buzzing with atmosphere.  many new and existing customers visited our stand and enjoyed a coffee or a glass of champagne whilst chatting about last years boating season.

New products were launched and sales were as bouyant as ever.  A big thank you to everyone who continues to support our products.  See exhibition reports for further pictures.

Opal Marine gives go ahead for A Glaze at LBS

Nick Smith of Opal Marine has agreed to present the 16 boats shown at next years London Boat Show using A Glaze Surface Sealant. Shipshape Services who are one of our applicators have been awarded the contract to apply the product for presentation as well as maintain the boats throughout the duration of the show. Models from the Azimut,Rodman,Legend and Mainship range of boats will be treated making 16 in total. Michael Bollom stated that it is good working once again with Nick and Opal Marine in presenting their craft at the 2008 show.

Competition Winner has boat Glazed

The Motor Boat and Yachting competition winner was pleased to have his Targa 37 Glazed. Our team took 5 hours to cut back the 10 year old craft and then Prep and Seal using the Active Plus System. The owners comments "Amazing A Glazing!! This treatment delivers results way beyond normal polishing. It has returned the gelcoat to "as new" colouration and shine and must surely have added value. I am much looking forward to saving some elbow grease next season too !!"

Presentation at CBI Manufacturing Dinner

Fairline Boats, joint sponsors of the CBI Manufacturing Awards Dinner in Birmingham last week requested A Glaze to assist in preparing a Targa 38 which was on display in the hall where the dinner was to take place. The work took 2 men 4 hours to prepare and Glaze, inside the warm for a change!

Photos show the finished presentation which reflects a successful evening where the Directors of Fairline attended. This craft is now on its way to Fairline Scotland to its new owner.

New products launched at London Boat Show

Creative Resins are pleased to announce a new product launch at the London Boat Show 2008. The new product is called Active 3 and has been produced to remove stubborn baked on marks or stains which are sometimes left in between visits to the vessel. Bird lime is especially hard to remove when left for periods of time and when it is removed it can lead to scratches being left on the surface of the GRP/Painted surface. New Active 3 will not only remove these marks with ease but will also reseal A Glaze surfaces leaving a gloss shine.

For boats which have not been glazed, Active 3 can still be used on the surface ensuring the mark is removed and leaving a high gloss finish with short term protection. Other stubborn marks such as black streaks, flies, exhaust stains can now be easily removed.

Active 3 will be available to buy from the A Glaze stand N031D at the London Boat show and comes in a 500ml spray

Fairline Boats agree to A Glaze London Boat Show Again

Fairline Boats have agreed to continue once again to have the display of the Targa, Phantom and Squadron fleet A Glazed at the London Boat Show Excel in January 2008.The presentation of these boats is important and we are pleased to be able to continue to support Fairline in their showcase.

At this years Monaco Superyacht Show Michael Bollom of A Glaze met with the British Ambassador Sir Peter Westmacott when he visited the stands in the Superyacht Pavilion. A lengthy discussion on what difference a British product was making on some of the Superyachts moored in France and how our brand was becoming recognisable in the industry along with the Captains looking after these extremely prestigious yachts saving maintenance costs throughout the season.

Fairline Targa 47 gets A Glaze treatment before being shipped to Hong Kong

At this years London Boat Show at Excel one of Fairline's customers visited the stand to discuss his new craft a Targa 47 for delivery this year. Agreement was made to apply A Glaze before shipping which took place last week at the Ipswich sea trial centre of Fairline Boats.

As you can see by the photos the Targa 47 looked super after treatment which took 2 men 6 hours to complete the whole boat. Treatments included the Hull and Top Sides, all the glass as well as the exterior seating. The tender also got sealed.

Sunseeker Yachts in Poole UK are now building some of their prestigious yachts with Black Hulls as special orders.

A Glaze were requested to Glaze a new 62 Predator as shown as this particular order was being shipped to Egypt. Our UV protection will enhance the gloss as well as protect this from fading which is expected in these climates untreated. Sunseeker Yachts although recommend our sealants on used craft are now at a stage of evaluating the process from production. The test will undoubtedly see the way forward for protecting new Gel Coat prior to delivery.

Magazines request A Glaze Plus Active for update reviews

Our technical team were invited to Glaze the craft owned by the editor of Motor Boat and Yachting magazine for an appraisal to be written during the year.

Due to the finish of the craft we decided to leave an area which was not Glazed which would show a difference. A kit was also supplied to do the remaining area in due course.

We shall be glazing a Telstar trimaran from yachting world and a yacht from yachting monthly soon - watch this space

Motor Boats Monthly Calm Voyager Glazed

The A Glaze team went to Port Solent where the Motor Boats Monthly Fairline Phantom 40 was stored out on the hard standing. "Calm Voyager" was given the full treatment to the hull . As for the top sides only parts were given the treatment as the testing on performance will be given. Only the team know which area was treated so as the Motor Boats Monthly crew can give an accurate report.

The boat accumulates many hours during the season which will be a good testing ground for the new A Glaze Plus ACTIVE.

London Boat Show an astounding success for A Glaze Plus Active

Our new corner stand and design at the LBS 2007 was very successful with over 42 boats presented for sale with A Glaze applied. These included Fairline Boats, Azimut, Rodman, ChrisCraft, Sessa, Grand Soleil and Arvor.

Our display boards attracted many more visitors to the stand as well as seeing our existing customers for a coffee or a refreshing drink.

Stocks were needed to be replaced 3 times during the show which was a record!!

Our Press launch on the first Friday of the show was very busy and well attended by all the media magazines with much interest on our progress and new products offered at this years show. Watch out for the forthcoming write ups and further tests which will be carried our during the following months.

Our thanks go to all the Applicators who worked with us over the last 10 days as well as the manufacturers and dealers who supported us and continue to do so.

We are also pleased to announce that we are in discussions with two further distributors Four Winns and X - Yachts for our system as well as supplying Sunseeker Yachts with product to A Glaze their training boat in Poole.

A Glaze launch Plus Active at the London Boat Show 2007

A Glaze will be launching their new Plus Active in January to coincide with the London Boat Show. This new product will replace existing Glaze currently being used on all GRP, Painted and Superyacht Hulls to improve performance.

Our new polymer which is "Active" will now assist with the removal of dust and dirt particles when it rains or is washed down. This is done by allowing the water molecules to become larger hence being able to pull any dust laying on the surface off. Our new system will also add additional protection from the UV elements.

This product can be placed over our existing glaze giving you extra protection.

A Glaze Plus Active will continue to make the A Glaze System the one to use on your craft reducing the need for polishing as well as cleaning.

NEW MARINE DECK CLEANER 500ML Being launched June 2006. This is for cleaning all non slip GRP walkway surfaces and is ideal for the diamond pattern deck mouldings. This deck cleaner is highly concentrated and can be used through a pressure washer if required. Priced at £7.49 plus VAT for 500ml, it is a very affordable, first class product. QANTAS PLACES ORDER FOR AVIATION GLAZE March 2006

Qantas the Australian airline has now ordered its first quantity of Aircraft Glaze for its fleet.

Delivery of the glaze will be April with commencement of our system immediately. It will take several months for the fleet to be glazed but it will be well worth it. Apart from the appearance Qantas will be joining other airlines who use our system saving on fuel and eminence costs.

A GLAZE FOR SUPERYACHTS - A Glaze professional has now been produced for Superyachts. These yachts have a particular need especially as most are painted surfaces. RMP Marine who are our specialists in France have glazed many Superyachts over the last few years reducing owners budgets in maintenance and at the same time pleasing owners with a first class appearance. LONDON BOAT SHOW 2006 STOCK SELLS OUT - This years London Boat Show was an astounding success for Marine A Glaze. A Glaze Plus was launched along with several other new products. Many more customers returned to re apply their craft once again as well as seeing new customers for the coming season.

Coffee and drinks were available to our customers who enjoyed the hospitality given by our crew.

Fairline stand was once again A Glazed as well as the Targa 34 outside the West entrance which was in the competition. Manufacturers such as Fairline, Sunseeker, Grand Soleil, Aquastar and Crownline all now recommend our process.

Charter companies such as Top Yacht, Portway Turkey and Sail Ionian all have ordered stock to re A Glaze their fleet of yachts once again.

With new products available in March which will include fabric protectants to stop mould and mildew growing we are all excited about the future. The product brand name will be A Glaze Silver. We are in discussions with fabric manufacturers from the show.

The International Business Awards evening held in November at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London Michael Bollom Managing Director collected the Highly commended award for Best New Exporter for the Marine A Glaze products. FAIRLINE BOATS APPROVE A GLAZE - Fairline Boats have now approved Marine A Glaze to be used on all new and used craft. After extensive testing by their gelcoat manufacturer it was agreed that Marine A Glaze would be responsible in preparing all the Fairline boats at the London Boat Show in January 2005 and January 2006. A Glaze has recently been applied to a 58ft squadron being shipped to America.

PRACTICAL BOAT OWNER: A Glaze Hull Cleaner was voted the best product - receiving 10/10 for removing waterline stains.

PRACTICAL BOAT OWNER: Eradicator sponge is excellent for removing small patches of rust stains and streaks from anchor locker drains.

MOTOR BOATS MONTHLY: A Glaze - 'Difference between treated and non treated surfaces is immediately apparent and boats we have monitored have retained a healthy shine well through the winter months'.

The A Glaze team after glazing a new 40ft Fairline Phantom at Essex Boatyards

The above Fairline Phantom 40 was glazed in 2005. Every product was placed on her ranging from glaze sealant, crystal vision, vinyl & leather protector, fabric protector and our silver air purifier. The boat looked truly immaculate when the team had finished. Her progress using the new A Glaze + was monitored for a year and it was found black streak marks were easier to remove by simply using a damp sponge.
