London International Boat Show 2010
A Glaze this year changed its complete layout and size to create a small shopping stall which allowed all new and existing customers to look at our products and read the labels deciding if the product suited their requirements. This proved much better and increased sales as well as product awareness. We shall continue this stand format for the future shows.

LONDON
BOAT SHOW JANUARY 2009
We have just completed the London Boat Show 2009 and we
have just signed up new applicators in Ipswich.
Year after year we have customers coming back to reglaze
their boats. With our additional products we can now offer
products for cleaning deck areas, removing the yellowing from
the hull and water line, cleaning a rib or tender, restoring
oxidised metal and stainless steel on the vessel and even
products for removing diesel stains or exhaust stains from
the transom areas.

Due to the credit crunch affecting the whole of the UK, we found more and more boaters this year wanted to A Glaze their boats than in previous years. Rather than buy new boats, boaters were looking to replenish their existing boats so a wider range of products were sold ranging from our teak care kit, vinyl and leather protector, deck cleaner as well as our marine kits.
More charter companies than befor came on and purchased A Glaze with existing users such as Champagne Cruises and Top Yacht re ordering for the year ahead.
This years show saw the launch of our new Rib and Dinghy cleaner which we were selling in a kit form along with our Rib and Dinghy sealant - this proved to be a resounding success as again boaters do not want to buy new tenders just because their existing ones are looking dirty or tired.
Although the boat show in general was not as busy as in previous years, we found that nearly everyone we spoke to had a boat whereas in previous years, families went to the boat show to enjoy a day out so this enabled us to spend longer with each customer and explain the various products that we sell. We had an A Glaze surgery on the stand where visitors were able to come along and tell us the problem they had on their boat whether it be mould on the canopy, rust on the cleats, tea stains near the sink vents..... the list was endless however 9 times out of 10 we were able to recommend a product that we sold as a remedy.
We have already started planning our London Boat show 2010!!!

MONACO SUPERYACHT SHOW SEPTEMBER
2007
Our first Superyacht show was a great success in September.
We exhibited in the UK Superyacht pavilion and was visited
by many captains and owners of yachts. Around 11 Superyachts
were taken on board as well as existing clients which
cam e to visit us to re book for 2008. Work taken on
board takes our representative RMP well into 2008. A
number of boat yards expressed great interest in offering
our process after re painting on existing craft and
new builds to protect the paintwork from the elements.
Overall the show exceeded all expectations and we greatly
appreciate the efforts of RMP Marine as well as help
from our Barcelona agents Seaskin. Thank you to all
who visited our stand and a thank you to the UK Superyacht
team who looked after us and our clients with hospitality. |
